This bed is ideal for accommodating unexpected visitors or kids’ living rooms. This bed is flat-packed and assembly is quite easy. A single ensemble by day, the trundle bed itself is on strong steel wheels allowing you to stand it up to the same height as the main ensemble, meaning they can be pushed together for a larger bed. When finished, the trundle bed simply folds up and slides under the main ensemble. If you have your own mattress, please contact us to know the price just for the base and trundle bed. Have only tested out the top/main bed. Mattress on base is very rigid/firm and will likely need a mattress topper to soften it a little. It arrived in 5 packages, BUT was left in foyer of apartment block, next door to me by the delivery company. It was delivered on a Tuesday, when I had requested Monday or Friday. I was left a note by a resident of the apartments, asking if I was waiting on 5 packages . I would not have known they had been delivered otherwise.
